Attendance

 Great news this week with our numbers up for students with 90% or more attendance for the week! We are almost half-way through the term and this is the point at which, if your child has already had 4 days away, and they are looking to come to the attendance celebration, they can have no more days away.

A reminder that are required as a school to provide reasons why students are away. If you have not let the school know either by logging in to COMPASS and adding an attendance note, or by calling the school, we need to follow that up. Due to our high number of unexplained absences, we will now be sending an email home asking families to fill out a form explaining absences we haven't been provided with a reason, so that we can comply with our obligations. We understand it can be hard to call sometimes, this is why we have the Compass option for families to use to let us know your child is not coming to school.
