REMINDERS
-Students must have a hat to play outside. If they don't, they will need to play in the shade.
-Please be sure to park in the designated parking zones on Balaclava Rd and Behind the school on Gowrie St. The police are making the rounds.
-Please consider contributing to your child's year at school if you can. We ensure that we cover the cost of all things students need for school and support families to access supports such as State School relief for free uniform, CCS to support extracurricular activities, providing all learning materials students need and providing all food students need at school. Having families contribute even a small amount means we can level up on some of the things we do and can provide. Please see HERE for how you can support your child.
A SETTLED FIRST FEW DAYS
Here’s the revised version with a warm Prep shout-out added naturally:
The first few days of school have been wonderfully settled and positive across the school. Despite the challenging heat, students have returned with smiles, enthusiasm and a strong sense of belonging, and it’s been great to see classrooms quickly forming as supportive, respectful learning communities.
A very special mention must go to our new Prep students, who are doing an amazing job learning all about being at school—following routines, making new friends and showing such confidence and curiosity already.
Teachers have been impressed by how well students have re-connected with routines and each other, and there has already been some excellent learning taking place. A big thank you to our families for the effort you have made to ensure students are here every day—your support plays a vital role in helping children feel confident, connected and ready to learn.
We’re really looking forward to another great year together.
