We’ve had another drop in the number of students with 90% or higher attendance, and this is now our lowest point for the term. At the same time last term, 17 more students were on track — and we’d love to see us get back there.

As we head into the final weeks of the year, attendance matters more than ever. Teachers are writing reports, completing assessments to measure each child’s growth, preparing end-of-year learning, and classes are spending time with their classes for 2026. When students miss school now, they miss important learning, connection, and opportunities to finish the year strong.

Every day counts — especially in Term 4. Let’s work together to lift our attendance and help every child finish the year feeling confident, connected, and ready for their next step.

If your child is not going to be at school for the performance, can you please let the school know ASAP. Classes have worked really hard on making their acts for the show and to have children not attend will really put a spanner in their works. If we can help by letting them know early, the impact can be managed and plans can be made to change the act.
