Student-Led Conferences
A huge congratulations to our students, families, and teachers for making this week’s student-led conferences such a success. We had one of our best turnouts yet, and the school was buzzing with pride as students shared their learning journeys, progress, and goals with their families.
It was truly inspiring to see the confidence and excitement in our students as they took the lead in showing what they’ve achieved, some of their challenges and things they are proud of. These conferences are a powerful way to build student voice and ownership—and family support makes all the difference.
Participation certificates were sent home with all students whose families attended. If you haven’t seen yours yet, please check in with your child—they may still have it tucked in their bag.
Thank you again for being such an important part of your child’s learning journey.

Mandiga Algabonya Shines
This week, we proudly welcomed Mayor Shane Sali to visit our Mandiga Algabonya – Healthy Eating Program. Mayor Sali toured our school kitchen, helped serve our students enjoying nourishing meals, joined in to eat the delicious rissoles on offer and heard first-hand how our whole-school food program is supporting learning, wellbeing, and connection.
We were also proud to speak at the Shepparton Foodshare "Make a Meal of June" fundraising event this week. Our school shared how much Foodshare’s ongoing support means to our community. From fresh produce to pantry staples, Foodshare helps make Mandiga Algabonya possible—and we’re deeply grateful.
Together, we’re creating a culture around food, where every child feels valued, nourished, and ready to learn.
