RECONCILIATION WEEK
This week all classes worked on a number of Reconciliation Week activities. Each class worked on making an Acknowledgement of Country and we came together to share them this afternoon. Here is our work.
PEER SUPPORT
On Monday this week we had our first Peer Support session for the year! Peer support sees out 5-6 students create fun and engaging activities that they run with a group of other studnets from across the school. These sessions allow students to work across grade and build their friendships and connect with students they may not usually play or work.
WRITER'S FESTIVAL
This week all grades 3-6 were involved in the LITTLESCRIBE Writers Festival- Australia’s largest online, interactive writing festival for schools. They joined in on Zoom video sessions with a range of children's authors who were speaking about their writing process. Kids then spent time having a go at writing like the author and then sharing their work with other students from around Australia.
FOUNDATION/1
This week our small people had a teddy bear's picnic. They then spent time on Thursday writing all about their picnic.
