WONDERFUL START TO THE YEAR
We have had a great start to 2023 with everyone coming back to school and settling in beautifully. Our brand new Preps have done a beautiful job beginning their school journey and they should be proud of their terrific start. We would also like to welcome all our new families into our Gowrie St community. Please come along to our Welcome Morning next Friday to meet your child's teacher and meet their friends and see their new classroom.
SOME REMINDERS
Please remember that drink bottles at school need to only have water in them. Any other drinks will need to be put into school bags and kept until the end of the day.
Children must have a hat to play outside. If children don't have a hat they will be asked to spend recess and lunch inside.
We send out very important information to families via COMPASS. A great was to make sure you get COMPASS messages is to get the app so it comes to you as a notification rather than a text. The text costs the school but a notification through the app costs next to nothing. If we could get all our families using the app we will save a lot of money that we could use for great things like extra excursions or celebration days.
