BAKER BOY EXCURSION

A wet, dark, very early start on Tuesday saw most of our grade 3-6 set off to Melbourne, Hamer Hall at The Arts Centre, to see Baker Boy in concert. They all had a great time, despite being exhausted on the way home. Here is what the kids had to say about the day:

"My favourite part about the concert was when the people started to breakdance. It looked cool and when Baker Boy came out it made me feel good because it was the first time to see a show in real life and my first time in Melbourne." Noah 5/6A

"Baker boy was amazing, between the music, the dancing and Baker Boy playing the didgeridoo we had so much fun. The music made us want to dance, my brain was blown when Baker Boy came out." 5/6 C

"The concert was better than anything we could have dreamed. It was absolutely the coolest thing we have ever seen, the lights, the dancing, the stage was incredible. Thank you Baker Boy for the experience and our trendy new hats!"

Simon - "It was better than my dreams."

Leila - "It was amazing."

Ruby - "It was the coolest thing I have ever seen."

Faith - "MAGNIFICENT." 3/4 A

On Tuesday the grade 3-6's embarked on a trip of a lifetime to The Arts Centre in Melbourne, we left school at 6:30 am full of excitement for the day ahead. When we arrived, we were gifted a Baker boy hat. There was an amazing Welcome to Country where the presenter sang in her native language and there was a traditional dance that went with it. We saw performances from Swag on the Beat, who are comedic Tik Tokers, they were hilarious. L2R, a Hip Hop dance school, did an amazing dance. Finally Baker Boy did some rapping and played the digeridoo. He was very entertaining and talented. After the show we were given a snack pack to eat before we came home. - 5/6B

"The Baker boy concert was amazing, we loved the whole show, especially the the hip hop dancing, the jokes and Baker Boy's performance was really awesome." 3/4B

"We loved seeing baker boy in real life, the funky animal dances at the start, and the funny men taping each other to the floor." 3/4C
